As the new year approaches, its always easy to make what i call an "on the spot decision". Meaning, its always easy to think of great new resolutions to make in hopes that you can achieve them throughout the year.
While I do not personally believe in making new years resolutions, I encourage you all to create resolutions that are reasonable and obtainable. Theres nothing more depressing than not reaching a goal, especially if you set a time frame to do so. I, myself, like to set a high goals, high standards, that are not beyond the means to reach them (if that makes any sense). lol.
Theres nothing more rewardable than reaching a goal and i hope that you do as we end a decade and approach a new one.

So the movie "Nine" is certainly a movie that I am very interest to see. Even though there are some pretty big names in the movie, I am sssoo excited to see it. The movie comes out December 25th, Christmas Day, and i am gonna rally up some of my friends and go and see it.
Intrestingly enough, Ive never been in to musicals but this movie comes just on the heels of my interest in burlesque and pin-upy style era. I think im gonna go and buy the soundtrack album that comes out on Tuesday, December 21st.

If you dont know, then you must find out...I am not a fan of trends. Ever since I could remember, I have always been the person to not obey trends. They annoy me and I think they are extremely unoriginal. Not to say that I dont like what trends create, I jus hate to follow them and to see others submitting to them.
Because I love to research religion and different beliefs around the world, I grow really upset when I see someone wearing an item that represent a religion as a fashion piece. If you hadnt figured it out by now, Im speaking on behalf of those who wear rosaries and are not actually catholic. It has become the increasingly popular new fad.
To be honest, I find it kind of disrespectful. Especially when you approach a friend who is wearing one and you mention the idea that they are catholic. And the most common response is "What are you talking about?". It is really, really frustrating to find it waving around on someone's neck and they have the slightest clue on what they are representing. To give no regard to the disciples of said religion or what it represents. It even goes as far as to mention that by wearing this piece, they have eliminated the thoughts and beliefs of the current religion that is in practice.
And while on the topic, I dont really like it when people clasp a chain around a cross that still has the depiction of Jesus on it. We all understand what that represents but Jesus has already died on the cross, to hold him in that place kind of makes me feel like most are being nonchalant about it. And no I dont like the "Jesus" tattoos that people get either. I dont understand how you can paint a picture of a man we have never seen.
Not to overlook the idea that people may be legitimacy wearing these pieces, I say keep on trucking. But to those who wear these items, please be aware of what history lies beneath the fashion trends you are following.
So today in music was a really good day (11.23.2009). So much music was released today. We have Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, Beyonce', Susan Boyle, Jay Sean, Shakira, and a few others.
Of all the artist, I ran over to Best Buy and coped Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Shakira. I spent about 35$ thanks to price matching and I havent been able to put these cd's down yet. Me & My I-pod have been working over time. I cant believe I got new music from 2 out of 5 of my favorite artist (Lady Gaga and Rihanna).
Here is a small review:
Lady Gaga: The Fame Monster As always, Gaga impressed me. Like any loyal fan, I went and purchased the deluxe addition that included the original album. This album, for me, proves that this lady has staked her claim and refuses to move. The wonderful 8 song addition helped to complete the album and it makes so much sense for her to have done that. The songs sound so different than records from The Fame, yet they sound as if they were supposed to be there. Its obvious to anyone who listens to vocals that her vocal range has gotten even better. Its always great to hear artist experiment with there vocals and sing the songs the way they want to create and produce them. RATING: (*****) out of (*****)
Rihanna: Rated R So I have to admit, seeing the parental advisory sticker on Rated R made me blush. Theres nothing like some appropriately used potty mouth words. Especially coming from an artist that was viewed as such a innocent person. If Im being honest, this album has to be Rihanna's best. I did something out of the norm and read a few reviews from us normal people on I-Tunes. The majority rated the album 4 out of 5 which is not bad considering this is the 1st album where Rihanna is issued writing credits (something that I love in artistry). Generally, people either really loved the album, or really hated the album. Which I can see why. I dont expect artist to be the same person they were when they started the industry, which is why i am able to appreciate it. If we did things the same way we always have, we will always get what we always had. The album demonstrates a tremendous growth in her vocal abilities and leans jus right on the naughty side. I must admit, of the 3 album, this has been getting the most I-Pod play. RATING: (*****) out of (*****)
Shakira: She Wolf This album is a first for me. Not that I didnt like Shakira, I jus had never considered buying any of her album. However, when I first heard the She Wolf song, I fell in love. Learning the lyrics to that song made me feel like I had climbed a mountain. I really do like this album though. There is enough of the old Shakira to suggest that she is moving in a different direction. I really enjoy how she experiments with snares and sounds that people would not think from her. Im in love with the fact that her name is on all of the writing credits. I love when an artist is an artist and she certainly is good at her craft. The only reason this alum did not get a perfect score from me is because listening to the album on shuffle can get a little repetitive. I mean, I know shes spanish and all, and I can take a spanish song every now and then, but to have the same song and then dub it in spanish and throw it on an album can be annoying. Especially if its like 3 songs. That mean 6 of the songs can take the majority of the album. It kind of reminds me of what they would do back in the day when singles were released. But I am happy with my purchase and love dancing to the album. RATING: (**** ) out of (*****)
I was considering adding the Adam Lambert CD to my list because he, to me, is an amazing artist as well. Anyone attempting to make a statement, willing to steak there claim, and is a good performer is great in my eye. But I ended up sampling the alum on I-Tunes, and I dont know if Im ready for him jus yet. Maybe in a couple months but not right now. Im not really into the whole rock, metal, scream at me vocals, jus yet. But I do like the song he performed at the AMA's (which btw, his performance was great) "For Your Entertainment" its really nice.
4 million albums later, we did it!! The first artist in history to spawn 4 number one hits from a debut album!!
If you have the sweet pleasure of knowing me personally, then you know Gaga is ony of my favorite artist ever!! She is so talented and has such an amazing passion for her fans and what she creates. She is so the ideal artist I would be if I were signed to a major label, who knows, it could happen lol.

So if you are like me and have not been under a rock over the last week or so, then you have heard all of the hoop-lah surrounding Rihanna's new song Russian Roulette. The song was written by Ne-Yo. I am a big Rihanna fan and I do love the song...I cannot wait for the video, I know its going to be amazing.
My initial reaction when I heard the song was a little put off. I was expecting to hear a more up-tempo song so I did have my guard up when I heard it was more of a ballad, mid-tempo. However, when I listened to it the second time and fell in love. It was easy for me to find the message I knew she wanted to portray in the song and that helped alot.
It seems a lot of people are either taking the song literally (for what ever reason) or assuming a different meaning behind Tiffany Evan's accusation towards satanism, and applying it to this song and or Rihanna personally.
Me personally, as some one who creates, couldn't imagine having another person who claims to make art as well, make such a literal interpretation on any piece work. And to furthermore voice an idea that could paint someone else in a negative way based on solely ideas and not fact.
The whole situation kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth as well. I couldn't help but read some of the comments that people have added based on what was said via Tiffany Evans's twitter page. It kind of make me think if she had not put what she had, the song would not have been received negatively. Im not even sure people would be able to think to relate it to satanism or suicide. I know that when I first listened to the song I would think to relate it to the situation with Chris Brown before anything. When I heard about this post from her I was taken so far aback. I was like "How did she come to that conclusion?".
And not to be this guy but where the hell has Tiffany Evans been to make an opinion? I mean really. Sorry but thats how I feel. (LOL). I know it was a low blow but you were thinking it too.
None-the-less, the song has caused controversy, which is always good. I like the song, I think its great and I cannot wait for the album to be released!! Ill post the lyric below.

This is ssooo effin funny. I came across this when me and my best friend were surfin around on youtube. So effin funny man. It basically proves the point behind the whole "no homo" movement.
Here is a video I found online for a great work out while at home. I hope you can appreciate it. Its good for me because my gym is so far away from my house. I can use this to work out on my days off.
So I'm pretty much a geek about phones. I don't get to but toys so this is the next best thing. Its called the Samsung Moment. At first I did not think to get it because it has a slide keyboard. Once I got my Instinct last year, I fell in love and vowed not to get another phone with buttons. This phone, however, seems to have the best of both worlds. A full touch screen and a keyboard.
After watching the videos it seems I have fallen in love with this little thing. I cannot wait until November 1st. Thats when it will be released. Yay!! We will see if I like it.
Here is another phone I stumbled upon that I think is jus glorious but I cant get it cuz its on the T-mobile network...I cant be switching companies like that. lol.
So I've decided I would post a tracker to keep up with my new project. I want to have the stomach I want by December for my b-day. I know its kind of a weird month considering there is nothing to do in December. But my birthday is in December so ill be turning the big 22 and I want to bring in the new year looking and feeling good.
My whole inspiration behind this is due to the fact that the rest of my body is just about how I want it... so thus this project is born, The Flat Abs Project. The stomach seems to be the most problematic part of any persons body anyway (isn't it funny how we work the hardest on this past of our body but it is the most covered?) And its something I've always had insecurities with.
I will be posting any special diets and basically a little tracker on my progress. Right now Im at 34' around the stomach (over my belly button) and I only want to get to a 33' or 32'. I don't want to loose weight so we will see how this all works out. But Ill keep ya posted! Ill post the before and after pics in December.
So about a month or two ago i had this huge dilemma with watching Twilight. I had always shied away from Twilight because it seems so many little kids liked it, i thought it was a kiddie movie. But I ended up borrowing the movie from one of my good buddys and I watched it. None-the-less I was inspired to but the books and read them all. I love the story line and it seems to be my favorite book ever! I think of the series, Eclipse or Breaking Dawn is my favorite. I plan on reading the series again. I cant wait until New Moon comes out.....Sssooo gonna be there!!!
So I saw a show on E! the other day and it was "Top Voluptuous Bodies" and Kim Kardashian (one of my favorites) was on there and then there was a lady named Dita Von Teese. I had never heard of her but now I luv her. She has an amazing body and I jus figured Id put sum pics and video up of her. Shes pretty amazing. Her shows are jus amazing and entertaining.
So Im really working 2 get me 3rd tattoo. The cravings Ive had 4 some more ink is real strong. I already kno what I want and everything. Hopefully I can go this coming weekend. Ill post pics if and when I get it.

So I wrote another poem that I decided to share with you. Im so anxious to post b-cuz (without sounding to cocky) I truly amaze myself sometimes. While writing this poem I discovered that I was writing metaphors within metaphors and other hidden messages throughout my writing. This is another poem that "hits home" for me. From a recent "situation" (if you will) that I found myself in. Im so glad I can share it without you. This is a poem that I wrote. The name of the poem is "Jupiter". As I was writing it I found that it takes on so many different meanings. The primary reason I wrote this poem was in dedication to my late grandparents. I lost my two grandmothers last year and Ive always wanted to do something to pay my respects (in a more sincere way). This poem comes from a place of very raw, real, emotion. And id like to share it with you.... Hopefully you can identify with this poem in some way, so read on. Let me know what what you think.

This place that Im in currently Holds no longevity.

What am I supposed to do in a world so superficial? A world where dreams are forged, unoriginal, unthinkable, untrue.

Now-a-days its almost second nature to come across someones Myspace or Facebook page and discovering ones "model" pics.
I personally dont have a problem with it. I think its great!! To have that self confidence within to know that you look good is something that everyone should have.
Sometimes, I do think to myself tho, "does this person really has what it takes to become a model?"
Not coming from a place of anger or envy...But i do think to myself from time to time.
I mean sure you may have a cute face, or even a nice body to match, or one of the two, but it dosent necessarily mean that u can model. Im sure that when you look at the models on tv, it seems super easy to have such a career. But as we were all told, things are not always what them seem. Its not as easy as you would think. Its not just the good looking models that we remember, its the good looking models who's persona is just as strikeing that we fall in love with.
With modeling, it takes more than jus looking pretty, or being super thin. So much more goes into being a model.
Now im not claiming to be an expert, nor am i saying that I havnt been guilty of having my "model moments", i kno we all have those. lol!! I jus think that for those who are trying to pursue a career in modeling that you do your research if you havnt already. Make sure that your not relying on your exterior beauty to land the job.
Its always the personality that leaves the lasting impression. Remember that!!

If I must say so, Swagger is indeed one of the words that I will be the most happiest to see go. Yea I get it, tha idea was cute at first but now tha terms is jus used WAY too much now!!
Maybe its jus my strong urge to be different in this very similar universe where adjectives are sure to clash....But im jus tired of everybody "Jackin everybody eleses swag" or "Loving everybody eleses swag".
Im not sayin that I havent used the word, but its somethings that I can surely count on one hand for tha numbers of times ive used it. lol

So latley Ive found that I am finding new inspirations. I dunno if its my next step in evoloution...or jus me growing up summore.
One of the biggest things ive found is that color is starting to spark new ideas n my thought process. Wether it b sumthin that im trying to wear or the influence it has on my mood now, but I find that this new "creative" energy is sumthin I do enjoy.
Whenever I see colors, especially bright neon type colors, i start thinkin of the most random things. It has started to create new ideas n my head, allowing me to explore new areas that Id normally not consider. One of the most evident is its abillity to render my mood. Not saying that if u flash a diff color card n my face that you will get a diff reaction each time, but it does make my brain tip off.
I have started to look into art as well, Andy Warhol type art. Ive always enjoyed art, but now I like to find art with different color elements or 3 dimensional pieces. Ive found an appreciation for it now and I think its hella cool if your into art or lookin to change your outlook or gain new inspiration.
I appreciate this "new energy" cuz who knows what it will help me to create (im a mad scientist). So if u see me out and about with all these diff type of colors and artistic type s*it on, feel free to point and laugh cuz i will join u!! lol (see, im doing it now) lol!! Lady Gaga dum done it again. Shes one of my fav artist so of course I gotta support her. This here is her latest video and i effin luv it man. So much eye candy goin on n this video. Her style is wicked man and I swear it inspires me. her style borders weird jus on tha perfect level, jus enough to make a statement and it mean sumthin. She is so lucky to hav the right creative team around her. Any-who, thas my two cents and heres the vid.
You know, there is something on my mind that I think we all need to really discuss. It has truly become an epidemic now that people are all “haters” these days. And just to show how serious I am, Im not going to use any slang in this blog.
It seems so often now that everyone is being titled a “hater”. You could not like the way someone is dressed, you could not like the way someone is speaking, you could not agree with someone’s opinion and you are automatically titled a “hater”. Even if it just your own personal opinion.
By definition, (from what I have gathered) a “hater” is someone who is envious over said persons. One who shows extreme discontent from an illogical or ludicrous stand point.
If this is indeed the case, I will go there with you. BUT….what I do not understand, is the idea that everyone is claimed as a hater when an opinion is voiced.
Lets play test for a second. Read the following serenio and tell me the best course of action for John Doe to assume.
(Scenario 1) If John Doe asked me if I liked his shirt. (He is wearing a red South Pole shirt, button down with some heavy awkward design pattern on the front. I don’t generally like South Pole) So I tell John Doe, Im not a big fan of South Pole, the design on the front is a bit much for me.
Should John Doe (A) Assume that Im a “hater” cause I secretly wished it was me that had the shirt OR (B) Assume that I simply do not like South Pole, but that I do still like him as a person
If your answer was (B) to listed scenario, then you passed. If your answer was (A) then maybe you’re the reason that im typing this blog.
Luckily I have not been able to find myself in this type of situation so I cant recall any experiences first hand. But I do want to know, why are people so quick to say that someone is “hating on them.” Why not just say that someone don’t agree with you on that matter, I mean wouldn’t that be more logical than to assume that he is “hating” on you?
I mean, I dont kno what 2 make of this, but my bestfriend told me about this vid and I jus HAD to look it up. He wouldnt tell me what it was about so imagine my surprise when I looked at it for tha first time. lol I jus dont kno where ANY of this came from. I mean this kinda video could not have been approved by management. lol And he could have not ever thought that this "grind" would be sumthin that tha ladys would like....im jus sayn.
Is it jus me or is American Dad tha funniest thing in life?? lol. Its like my favorite cartoon. But here is a short clip of Rodger trying to scam on a company to sue for sexual harrasment.
So if u r anotha one who effin luvs tha new Beverly Hills 90210, I kno that me and u will get along jus fine. Las nights episode was simply amazing. I can honestly say that everything that happened was certainly nowhere near my radar. Im so anticpating next week show. I cant imagine whats gonna happen next week.

BTW: Her Album "Solange and The Hadley Street Dreams" is certainly worth tha dollas. It is anotha album that has earned its way into my greates albums of all time collection.

So I decided to do my lil version of an "album review" for Keri Hilson's debut album In A Perfect World... I absoutley love artist who have their own creative direction and ideas. Artist who try and convey a message and do more with their music.
Keri Hilson has mos def made a mark with her debut. This CD is just great!! I give it 5 out of 5 stars. Go support her!!
Everybody seems to have something to say about Rihanna's new tattoo. All the diffrent websites seem to say that "she's depressed" or "still sad" over what happened between her and Chris Brown.
But im like...who tha hell cares?? Its her body, let her do what she wanna do. No one knows why she got tha tattoo or what it means so please get over it.
